let's master the splits

#FitFlexySplits

First off, you need to accept that the splits are going to take you a LONG time to fully 'master.' I don't want to discourage you from learning the splits, I just want you to be realistic and understand that you're in this for the long haul, and when you finally get a flat split, it's going to feel amazing.
I started dancing at the age of two and it wasn't util I turned 13 that I actually started really dedicating myself to the splits. It took me three years from that moment to be able to do the splits comfortably. (keep in mind it took me three years and I was dancing 5-6 days a week and I still had to practice the splits on top of that)

So let's hold each other accountable. Take a before picture of your split today and post it on Instagram using the hashtag #FitFlexySplits in your post.
Every time you post a photo of your split practice (no matter where you are in your journey) include that hashtag. This way you'll be able to interact with other yoginis who are working on their splits and you'll experience the support of the Fit Flexy Folk community as we work together to master our splits.

Dedicate about 10 mins a day to practicing the splits (or longer, but try for 10 minimum). If you miss one day, that's totally fine, if you miss a week - also okay. Just keep coming back to your practice. Show up for yourself and if that's not enough to push you, show up for the people in the community who are also working on improving their splits.
