2 slices of whole grain bread 1/2 Tbsp. butter 1/4 avocado 1 banana 2 eggs sprinkle of cinnamon
Steps
Heat up your pan or skillet.
Pop your bread in the toaster.
Make sure your pan is hot (sprinkle a drop of water on the pan & if it sizzles then your pan is good to go).
Spray some non stick olive oil or coconut oil on the pan. If you would like you can use about 1/2 Tbsp of your favorite oil and spread it over the pan.
Crack your eggs on the skillet. Cook the egg on the first side until the clear part of the egg is completely white. Use your spatula to check under the corner of the egg white, the white should start to brown slightly around the edges, then you can flip the egg.
Turn off the stove but leave the egg on the skillet to allow the second side of the egg to cook slowly.
Slice your avocado and banana.
Butter one piece of toast & smash your avocado on the other piece.
Spread out your banana on the buttered toast & sprinkle some cinnamon over the bananas.
Place the cooked eggs on top of your avocado toast.
Add salt & pepper to your liking!
Enjoy!!
I tend to be a creature of habit and this is one of my go to breakfasts. It's packed with healthy fats, protein, and it keeps me full for quite a while! Try topping your avocado toast with some veggie 'bacon' if you're a vegan, or use your favorite gluten free bread if you have a gluten allergy. This recipe is super easy to make slight adjustments to to best suit your dietary needs.
