Happy December, you all! As the temperature drops, our spirits are high! But even with the holiday magic in the air, that “merry & bright” feeling can at times be difficult to hold onto. Between the shorter days and the pressure of social obligations, even the cheeriest of elves is likely to get a little stressed out!
But not to worry! We’ve got you covered with a hip opening sequence that would even get Scrooge to smile! So no matter how you celebrate, and what your traditions might be, take some time to release your holiday tension with these five poses. And don’t forget to smile! Smiling is our favorite! ;)
The Prana:
Bunny Breath I typically reserve this pranayama for my kids yoga classes, but it’s just playful enough to make it the perfect fit for this sequence! And the rapid breath cycles are great for keeping energy levels up. Take a full, cleansing breath in and out. Take four short, rapid breaths in, followed by one slow, long exhale. Repeat 20-30 times.
